Why it’s worth going

Finance and accounting recruiters spend seconds scanning each resume, so learning to present your qualifications effectively is critical. This peer group helps you tackle common challenges like quantifying your impact in previous roles or choosing the right format for your experience level. The session is particularly useful if you’re preparing applications for campus recruiting season or government competitions.

Going in prepared

Bring a printed or digital copy of your current resume so you can apply the tips immediately. Prepare specific questions about areas where you’re uncertain, such as how to frame academic projects as relevant experience or whether to include your GPA. Arrive ready to participate actively, as peer group sessions benefit from shared discussion and examples.
