Why it’s worth going
Finance and accounting students can get quick, focused guidance on career essentials like resume writing, interview preparation, and job search strategies without booking a formal appointment. The recurring schedule throughout the semester provides flexibility to drop in when questions arise during recruitment cycles. Having access to Career Specialists familiar with the finance and accounting job market can help students navigate the competitive application process.
Going in prepared
Come prepared with specific questions about your career planning needs to make the most of the brief, focused format. Since these are drop-in sessions running from 1:00 to 2:30 p.m., arriving earlier in the window may reduce wait times. Bring any materials you want feedback on, such as draft resumes or cover letters. The sessions run every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, so you can return multiple times throughout the semester as your needs evolve.
