📍 Lobby Nicol, Carleton University
🏢 Hosted by Sprott School of Business
The Fall 2026 Sprott Clubs and Experience Expo is a showcase event held in the Nicol Building lobby at Carleton University. This expo provides students with the opportunity to explore the many student-run clubs at Sprott and learn about experiential learning opportunities. The four-hour event runs during the day to maximize student participation at the start of the fall term.
Why it’s worth going
Finance and accounting students can discover clubs directly relevant to their career development, potentially including groups focused on investment, consulting, accounting, or social impact finance. Sprott clubs offer opportunities to build professional networks, develop leadership skills, and gain hands-on experience that employers value. The expo format allows you to compare multiple opportunities in one efficient visit and speak directly with current club members.
Going in prepared
Come prepared with questions about time commitments, membership requirements, and what specific skills or experiences each club offers. Bring a notebook or use your phone to take notes about clubs that interest you, including contact information and application deadlines. Dress casually but professionally, and be ready to provide your email address to clubs you want to join so they can follow up with you about membership.
