Why it’s worth going
This event is specifically designed for students who are at the final stage of their academic journey or have recently graduated, making it an ideal opportunity to secure full-time positions rather than internships. The focused attendance criteria means less competition from earlier-stage students and more meaningful conversations with recruiters looking to fill immediate openings. The summer timing is strategic for companies finalizing their hiring for fall start dates.
Going in prepared
Bring multiple copies of your updated resume tailored to the types of roles you’re targeting, as this is a recruitment-focused event where employers will be actively hiring. Prepare a clear elevator pitch that highlights your degree, relevant experience, and career interests, since you’ll be competing with other graduating students and recent alumni. Dress in business professional attire and research which employers will be attending so you can prioritize your time at the fair.
